Please note that this ceramic sharpening rod is intended for maintenance and will not sharpen your knife if it is completely blunt or damaged. For repairing damaged knives, we strongly recommend the use of a whetstone. Global knives are sharpened at a 15-degree angle in the factory, and we recommend sharpening at this angle for the best results.
